As a self confessed Buffy fan, I was more than a little stoked at getting to do this tattoo. It was a buffy geek fest while I was tattooing this. I nearly broke into songs from the musical a couple of times.
So for Buffy geeks everywhere here you go
We had a great day on Sunday and raised £231.55. Thanks to everyone who come down and thanks to Josie and Nicole from Central Tattoo Supplies for helping us with supplies. Here are some photos of the day. If you would still like to donate to the Tattooers for Japan Fund please go here

I have been trying a couple of different paint mediums lately and I finally tried Liquid Acrylics last night after yet another shopping trip to Hobbycraft.
So here you go, my first attempt at using them I think I am going to get on with these.

We had a lovely surprise today from Josie and Nicole from Central Tattoo Supplies. They have donated a load of supplies to us for our Walk In Charity this Sunday. These will be a big help in getting more people tattooed on the day.
Remember that we will be tattooing a selection of Japanese inspired designs for a range of prices and ALL money raised will go to the Tattooers for Japan fund to help the victims of the Japanese Tsunami Disaster.
So come down and get involved.
Our studio, Northern Soul Tattoo will be holding a walk in day on Sunday 3rd April where all money we take from tattooing will go to the Tattooers for Japan fund raising group to aid the victims of the Japanese Tsunami.
All details of our open day can be found here and the designs available can be found here
We have also been featured on the Tattoo Snob website, Click to see article
So come down and get involved! If you do not want a tattoo we will happily take all donations no mater how small, they will be gladly accepted!
As you can see on the Tattoo Jam website, both myself and Adam are working this convention in August. I am now taking bookings so if you would like to get a tattoo please contact me via the website or the studio. There are some amazing artists working at the show and I am looking forward to it. Its at the Doncaster Race Course and is August 6th and 7th.
Just to note I am pretty much now booked up for Liverpool however Adam still has a space or two available. Contact the studio if you would like a tattoo from him.
One of my lovely regulars Sarah, asked me if I could do a tattoo of her rat Rupert in a rose. So after looking through a load of photos I kept coming back to the one where he actually had a party hat on. It was shouting out to be used so I completed the painting for her and here it is.
PLEASE DO NOT COPY AS THIS IS A CUSTOM PIECE AND THERE IS ONLY ONE RAT THAT WORE A PARTY HAT AND THAT WAS RUPERT!
Below are the designs that will be available on Sunday 3rd April from our studio Northern Soul Tattoo. These are only the outlines and will be coloured on the day. We will be open 11-5pm and customers will be taken on a walk in, first come first served basis. All designs will be priced between £30 and £140. All designs will only be put on limited places on the body so we can get as many done as we can!
Come down and get involved! Its all for a great cause for more information on this please go to www.tattooersforjapan.com.
So after nearly six months since it was started I finally managed to get this piece finished due to the fact my lovely customers pretty much lives down south now.
So now its finished it was decided to carry it on up around the back and then it will carry on down the thigh down the leg. The first part has been lined and I will put up some photos on completion.
Tattooers for Japan
Due to the terrible scenes we have all been witnessing in Japan and the fact that all tattooists owe a great debt to Japan for their history in tattooing. We are proud to announce we will be participating in the Tattooers for Japan fund raising event that is happening around the world in the next few weeks.
So on Sunday 3rd April, we will be opening our doors for a one off walk in day of tattooing with ALL proceeds being given to the Japanese Diaster Fund.
We will be open 11am – 5pm, it will be on a first come first served basis, there will be a selection of Japanese themed designs to choose from (these designs will be posted up in the next week or so). There will be a variety of designs and prices.
We will not be tattooing any torsos, upper inner arm or lower backs as they take a liitle longer to do and we want to get as many tattoos in as we can so it will be pretty much arms, legs and the odd foot here and there.
We hope you will all come and get involved for what is a very good cause and you get a tattoo for helping out! How can you say no to that!
We will update you as the date gets closer. For more info of what is happening around the world go to

Ink for Aid
We are also donating some paintings to the Ink for Aid fund raiser in Leeds. This is a great idea of gettings some artwork together and auctioning it off for the charity. For more information please go to

So its been a while as this last one has been over a couple of sittings. This piece is a design from an old tour tshirt and has been modified to fill the lower arm around the some kind of monster piece. The amount of line work in this piece was bordering on the ridiculous at times, lines lines everywhere. Next addition will hopefully be at Liverpool Tattoo Convention, so if you are going come over and have a look!
