So I was very pleased to be able to get to do this today. I did it on an old friend who I have only recently got back in touch with Joe. So from one lover of all things Star Wars I finally got to do my first storm trooper tattoo!

Old School Panther – Oh go on then!
I got to do a pair of old school panthers on a couple today. I don’t do old school that often so I really enjoyed doing these. Here is one for you to have a look at.

Ohhhhh what a lovely day for tattooing some flowers
I had a lovely day today with a visit from Kelly (Check out her blog) who I started a full William Morris inspired flower sleeve on at Liverpool Tattoo Convention. We decided to tackle the tender upper inner arm space and get that space filled in. Kudos to Kelly who always sits like a champion. And here you go!

I found this on the camera memory card today and I like it so I thought I would share it even though its not the usual type of stuff that I put up on the site.
St Gabriel half sleeve
This is a St. Gabriel piece on the upper arm, nice to do a bit of a different slant on the black and grey religious theme.
1st Place for Best Small Colour Female at Manchester Tattoo Convention 2011
After a bit of craziness I finally picked up my trophy today for winning 1st place for best small colour female at Manchester Tattoo Convention 2011. I won this for the blue jelly baby I did on one of my regular customers Zoe. I would like to thank JP at 81 Ink and the guys at Global Tattoo Supplies for sorting it out for me.
So a guy walks into the studio looking to get a cover up ……
Today I finished up a sleeve which consisted of covering up tribal, a tiger and a dragon. This was easiest the biggest cover up I have done so it was nice to let the design breathe a little more on the bottom of the arm with the addition of some goldfish and a ranchu.

Henry, the king of the Staffordshire bull terriers
After thinking about doing some artwork for a new set of business cards, then looking at my dog Henry, then thinking about some artwork for my new business cards I came up with this after a few hours with some acrylic and watercolours.

Goldfish and Pokemon, it was an eventful week!
I got to do a couple of nice session pieces this week. The first piece was a continuation into a full sleeve of the massive tribal cover up I completed a little while ago. So it was filled with goldfish.
The other piece was a gamer sleeve , which included Sonic, Mario, Pokemon, Bubble bobble, Frogger and Tetris. This is right up my street tattoo wise. I cant wait to crack on with getting this coloured.

Multi award winning Patrick McFarlane who works across Europe will be doing another guest spot at Northern Soul Tattoo again in August.
