Last one for this evening I think. This is a very rough drawing for my Alkaline trio flash set. It will be tidied up before it is transferred to watercolour paper for painting. I have just one more to do then I can get started on the finished sheet.

New flash project

I have set myself a project to draw a load of flash designs relating to my favorite bands and songs and after a chat with Mel Noir from TattoosdayUK I have finally started to get my drawings together. I am starting with Alkaline Trio related flash. Here are the rough drawings before I transfer them to water colour paper.

 

Metallica Project

Last summer a guy called Peter walked in the studio and asked for a metallica tattoo, 8 months later the Metallica tattoo collection is going strong. These are just a few examples of the tattoos he has now. The pushead designs are really nice to tattoo. You should check out pusheads artwork it is very good.

Days off, appointments and Convention News

I will not be in the studio on Saturday 29th January as I am having a day off. The studio is open as usual so you can book in for an appointment if you dont need to discuss your tattoo with me.

Studio appointments are being taken, can my regulars note that I now work Thursdays if you would like an appointment please get in touch!

My weekend slots are filling up quickly so if you are after any work doing at the weekends contact me so I can get you booked in.

I am now fully booked for Manchester Tattoo Convention. I am now taking bookings for Liverpool Tattoo Convention in the Adelphi Hotel May 14th/15th! If you would like something there please let me know!

Taking bookings for January

Northern Soul Tattoo will be open today and tomorrow to take booking for January. So if you would like some work off me please contact me or drop into the studio. There are 1000’s of designs in the studio for you to look at, if you have an idea of what you want, bring your ideas and images in so I can get you something drawn up just for you.

Adam is also taking tattoo bookings for the new year and we are now taking bookings for piercings as Steph will be returning to the studio after the new years break!

Big News from Northern Soul Tattoo

We would like to announce that due to the success of our studio in Prescot we are going to need a bigger studio to fit all you lovely people in. Unfortunately this will mean we will be leaving Prescot. However, the good news is we are not moving far.

Our new studio is going to be just 10 minutes down the main road in Knotty Ash, We will be moving to 265 East Prescot Road which is part of the run of shops just opposite the Kwik Fit by the junction between East Prescot Road and Eaton Road. We will be confirming the dates of our move closer to the time but we are looking to be up and running for the first week in December 2010. We will keep you all updated as we get closer to the date.

We will all be working in Prescot until the end of November. So you are still welcome to come down and get booked in and we are also taking booking for the new shop. We will have 3 rooms running in the Knotty Ash studio so this will mean there will be more appointments available for tattoos and piercings.

This means we can bring you more guest artists and the first one we can confirm is the welcome return of international award winning artist Patrick McFarlane, who worked in with us earlier in the year and will be working in the new studio in mid December. If you would like to get booked in with Patrick please contact us ASAP as he will get booked up fast.

Other exciting news from us is that we have now confirmed we will be working the following conventions in the new year.

  • Manchester Tattoo Show – March 2011
  • Liverpool Tattoo Convention – May 2011

We have a few more that will hopefully be confirmed in the near future details will follow. So if you would like some work done by us at these conventions please get in touch as spaces are already going quick for these.
