Email issue over the last day or two

We seem to be having a problem with our email at the minute so if you have tried to contact me or the studio via email the last day or two and not got a reply, please email me on shazzactattoo@gmail.com and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Apologies, and I will let you know once it is sorted.

I have sorted the contact me page so you can just click there in the meantime.

Manchester Tattoo Convention – This Weekend!!

I have just picked up our new convention banners and stickers in preparation for Manchester Tattoo Show this weekend! Here are some lovely photos of us showing them off for your viewing pleasure.

I am looking forward to working on some really nice pieces this weekend. I do not have any free spaces left however if you are coming to the show please feel free to drop by the booth and come say hi!  There will be stickers and possibly sweets if you are lucky!

While I am on the subject of conventions. Due to the fact that Everton cant muster the energy to beat Reading I will no longer be dreaming of another trip to Wembley. I am now taking bookings for the whole weekend of Liverpool Tattoo Convention. If you would like a piece from me please email me through the contact page and I will get in touch!

Trio Project, Manchester Tattoo Convention and Days Off this week.

I managed to start painting out my Alkaline Trio flash sheet last night. Below is the progress I made, with out the use of a full set of paint brushes, due to me leaving them in the studio over the weekend. Looking forward to getting it all finished!

I will be out of the studio Friday and Saturday as I am working Manchester Tattoo Convention over the weekend. Check out the link and if you are attending drop by the booth and say hi.

Last of the designs for the Alkaline Trio Flash Sheet Project complete!

I finally have got some time to finish my last design for the Alkaline Trio project I have been working on. This is from the song Goodbye Forever. I have finished inking out the watercolour sheet and have some cool little fillers to fill out the sheet. Due to the fact that I am very absent minded by 6pm on a Saturday evening I have managed to forget to bring home my pens and brushes so I cant get on with any of the painting tonight.  Looking forward to finishing it all off and starting on a few new things I have in the pipe line.

Its not every day you get to do a tattoo of a Jelly Baby!

So after weeks of waiting I finally got to tattoo my first of a set of jelly babies on one of my lovely regular customers Zoe! You know its a good day when your tattoo is making you smile as you are doing it. We will be completing another Jelly Baby at the Manchester Tattoo Convention in March. So here it is pink  jelly baby!

And to top it all off Zoe gave me a couple of Jelly Baby necklaces she made from her Fyrefly Gems Jewellery Range!

Go team Jelly Baby!

In the finals of the most humorous tattoo competition! Well isn’t that the bees knees?

I entered one of my tattoos in Bob Baxter, editor-in-chief of TattooRoadTrip.com, most humorous tattoo competition. I have just found out that I have managed to get into the final.

This is the tattoo I have entered. It made me laugh while I was doing it and hopefully it will make some other people raise a smile and all.

You can go look at all the entries at Bob Baxters Most Humorous Tattoo Competition and go vote for your favourite. Adam also has an entry in there of a pregnant pin up.

If you vote for either of us thank you in advance.

Its a good read in general so go look at the whole blog. Enjoy and I hope it brightens up your Monday Night.

Some old and new additions to my tattoo album now I have been through the memory card!

After going through my photo memory cards and finally organising my photos I found a photo of a peony flower as a shoulder cap on a sleeve which I completely forgot I had a photo of. So here it is for your viewing pleasure!

I finished a piece of flash today, I redrew the piece to make it work better as a piece and was pretty enjoyable piece to do in the end. Fair play to my customer who sat like a trooper considering he was not feeling too well but wanted to get it finished.

The piece wraps around the thigh and will be getting some more background in it at a later date.

Another good day at the studio and I have managed to get most of my appointments all sorted out for the Manchester Tattoo Show. Good times!

And remember what happens in Vegas!

Enjoyed doing this one today, the cards are taken from the cards he bought back from Las Vegas. We were talking about Las Vegas and all the fun it entails and it only made my mind up that I will be booking us a holiday to Vegas again this year! If you haven’t been you should go as it is amazing!  I did however cause a bit of a problem for the lad as his girlfriend is now demanding to know what DID happen in Vegas….. I’m staying well clear of that one.

Tattoos I have yet to finish but their time will come!

Here are a couple of tattoos I have on going at the minute. The first is a crazy combination of a Chinese warrior princess backed up by the terracotta army. This work is still ongoing but I thought I would let you see how it is coming along.

The next piece is part of a Japanese sleeve I am working on. The dragon will eventually have windbars, clouds and cherry blossom as its background and will green in colour.  I am looking forward to finishing this one too.
